Most cheats nowadays aren’t really “cheats”. A cheat is normally found within the game via some clever way to hide it or in the player’s guide. I doubt developers would waste their time posting anything on the web besides a blog, blurb, or maybe even the company’s official website.

Actually, most cheats come from the people who test the games. The creators of the games give them cheats so they can test the game without much trouble.
That’s what I’ve been told. I know someone who works for testing games for PC and PS, and he gets the cheats from the creators.
